Howard sadly died on Thursday 28th August 2008
After completing boarding school by the good fortune of being dropped
off and picked up by his parents, Howard then went on to University
where he studied Archaeology. Building on an above average first year
his grades then dropped consistently. If the course had been longer he
would not have come out with his BSc.
Armed with his trowel and used to digging holes, Howard then joined
the Army where he was commissioned into the Royal Artillery (so that
he could produce even larger holes).
After leaving the Artillery, Howard started freelancing in the events
industry as a logistics manager. This was a relief to the Army, as every
Regiment he served in has since been disbanded.
Like Nick Grecian, Howard also played a lot of Rugby, perhaps the highlight being playing for the 9ths at London Scottish. Here Howard was known to dominate the ground that he stood on, with one referee saying that you know what you are doing, but you are just so slow.
