Barry White

Barry White is a resident of Gullane (near Edinburgh), a father of two teenage daughters and a specialist in the financing and development of major infrastructure projects.

Having completed the Howards Way Walk in 2010 the opportunity to have another go this year is one that simply had to be taken.

Great company as you walk, a great challenge and a really good cause.  Please give generously to help research into pancreatic cancer.

Having previously been an Army officer I have seen my fair share of teams on route marches.

What I experienced last year, and expect will be the same this year, was a unique and great collective spirit of a fairly sedentary, mostly middle aged, joyous bunch determined to push themselves through the pain of blistered feet and aching muscles to finish a walk for a really important cause.
