Frank Wainwright

I’m Frank, 41, living in France with my wife Cathy and daughter Lily and a whole pile of guests who come to stay in our chambre d’hotes.

I cook quite a nice magret de canard.

My other life involves writing things, running a small publishing company with a marketing magazine and website, Field Marketing and Brand Experience, and hosting an awards event of the same name annually in Mayfair.

Earlier this year I spoke to Simon Burton about the walk and its camaraderie and above all Howard’s inspiring story and was determined to give this a try. Howards’ seem like the sort of footsteps one should follow.

My wife says that I have no worthwhile hobbies or interests so I am proving her wrong.

I’m relying on that - in the main - to get me through this walk and hope I will be able to move enough to attend my award’s event which is 3 days after it finishes.
