Why am I doing this walk? To get out of the house
for 4 days!
No actually I’m doing this walk after filming last
years walk and meeting a lot of very nice people.
It inspired me too want to join in.
Last year I lost two close friends to Cancer
(Peter & Sue) and feel that I have to start giving
something back.
I cycled from East Horsley to Paris in August last
year with 19 other guys and we raised over £24,000
for the children’s cancer ward of the Royal Marsden
& more than anything it made me realise how if you
can just put your head down you will get there in the end! I’ll be using this same bull headed theory to get me through this walk!
I never knew Howard but he was obviously a very loved man to have such good friends around him that they are still celebrating him in such a fantastic way.
