Hey...my name is Sam.

When I am not spending time making sense out of that spurious word Sustainability, I can be found either hanging out with my kids or reading a book on social psychology, usually with a glass of very good Sauv in hand. 

So now you all think I am somewhat dodgy and to be avoided at all costs, here's the story behind me doing the walk. 

Last year I turned up at the finishing line with a bottle of Champagne to cheer these amazing people on, and made a personal pledge (after the third glass...) that I would raise my game in 2011.

 

I must have said it out loud as Simon Burton has since regaled my promise to all involved and so here I am with new walking boots and a bod that could do with a bit of work...

Having cared for my children's father through a gruelling year and a half of chemo, I have some insight...and can think of nothing better than to get my butt in gear and help to raise as much money as possible.
