Sophie O'Keefe

I am a mother of 5 children and have worked for most of my adult life as a family law barrister.

It therefore goes with out saying that I have not had much time do do anything else.

Currently on sabatical and with the oldest 2 off to university and the youngest starting school I feel crazy enough to try and walk  85 miles.

I love the idea of a challenge and I enjoy walking. I hope that will see me through??

On a more serious note I lost a very close friend of mine, also a barrister and mother to cancer some years ago.

She was one of the greatest inspirations in my life. I feel lucky and very grateful to have what I have and wish to contribute something for a cause that is so important to the quality of the lives of others less fortunate.
