Susana Lorena

Hi, I'm Susana from Portugal, and although I think I'm a completely normal laid-back person, for reasons which aren't obvious to me, everyone else seems to think that I am a crazy Latin mad woman.

I have worked very hard on my English, so it's disappointing to be told by Justin that I sound like a Russian spy from a Bond movie, whose parents were originally from Birmingham. As an occasional smoker with short legs, I am not an obvious long distance walker, however I did start running this year raising money for Help for Heroes in a half-marathon.  Even so, I am slightly concerned about the horror stories from previous walks although my only training outing so far involved Justin, Lee and Simon walking me to the pub, which seemed ok!  Some work to do...
 
I run a lingerie shop in Richmond called SL Privée (lady walkers: make sure you're wearing the right bra!) and have had the pleasure of helping many ladies recovering from breast cancer to feel confident and sexy again.  I have also seen what a huge impact cancer can have on their lives and look forward to raising money for a great cause.
