We regret to inform you that Howard sadly died at 00:45 on Thursday 28th August 2008.

The end was peaceful and he was surrounded by his wife Jane, daughter Octavia and other close family members.
Over his last days his room had witnessed laughter, chat, champagne, port and wine amidst a procession of people that loved him.

We will all miss him terribly.

Howard's funeral will take place on Monday 8th September, 2008

at St Mary the Virgin, Henley-on-Thames
